The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) and Dish Media have requested viewers to watch Nepal Premier League (NPL) matches only through official platforms to avoid cyber risks and legal violations.
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) and Dish Media Network Limited, the official OTT service provider for the Nepal Premier League (NPL), have urged viewers to watch NPL matches exclusively through authorized platforms.
In a public notice, they warned that accessing cricket matches through unauthorized links, websites, or platforms may expose viewers’ personal and financial data, increasing the risk of cybercrime. They strongly requested the public not to use or promote such illegal streaming sources.
The notice further stated that any unauthorized sale, distribution, rebroadcasting, recording, editing, or use of NPL match content—other than through the rights-holder DishHome—is illegal and punishable by law.
