Chitwan Rhinos Arrange Free Bus Service for Supporters During NPL
Franchise team to transport fans from Chitwan to Kathmandu on match days at no cost
Chitwan Rhinos, the franchise team of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), has arranged free bus services for its supporters traveling from Chitwan to Kathmandu on match days. According to team president Ayush Neupane, buses will depart from Chitwan depending on the match schedule—at 5:00 AM for morning fixtures and 9:00 AM for afternoon fixtures. After the matches, the buses will return to Chitwan. A total of six buses have been allocated for this service, and supporters with valid online match tickets will be eligible to board.
The buses will depart from the premises of Chitwan Medical College (CMC) and will transport fans directly to the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. Chitwan Rhinos play their first match today at 11:45 AM against Karnali Yaks. The team will then face Lumbini Lions on Mangsir 4 at 4:00 PM, Biratnagar Kings on Mangsir 10 at 4:00 PM, and Kathmandu Gorkhas on Mangsir 12 at 11:45 AM. Further fixtures include matches against Janakpur Bolts on Mangsir 16 at 11:45 AM, Sudurpashchim Royals on Mangsir 18 at 4:00 PM, and Pokhara Avengers on Mangsir 20 at 3:30 PM. Additional matches will be determined based on the points table standings.
Ahead of the tournament, Chitwan and surrounding districts have been decorated with flags, banners, and stickers in support of Chitwan Rhinos, reflecting strong local enthusiasm for the team.
