NPL Season Two Features Two Matches Today at Kirtipur Ground

Chitwan Rhinos vs Karnali Yaks and Biratnagar Kings vs Pokhara Avengers set for Day 2 of the Nepal Premier League.

The second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) will feature two matches today at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. The first match is scheduled for 11:45 AM, where Chitwan Rhinos will face Karnali Yaks. The second match of the day will see Biratnagar Kings competing against Pokhara Avengers. All four teams aim to begin their campaigns with a positive start.

Chitwan Rhinos will play under the captaincy of Kushal Malla, while Sompal Kami will lead Karnali Yaks. Biratnagar Kings will be captained by Sandeep Lamichhane, and Kushal Bhurtel will lead Pokhara Avengers. Earlier on Monday, defending champions Janakpur Bolts suffered a five-wicket defeat against Kathmandu Gorkhas, giving Kathmandu a strong opening and two points in the standings.

Organized by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), the tournament began on Mangsir 1 and will conclude with the final on Mangsir 27. According to CAN, the champion team will receive a prize of Rs 1 crore 10 lakh.
