AI-Powered Robot Dog ‘Changkhe’ to Feature in NPL Season 2
Nepal Premier League (NPL) Season 2 will showcase an AI-based four-legged robot dog named ‘Changkhe’ as a special attraction for players and spectators.
Nepal Premier League (NPL) Season 2 will feature an artificial intelligence (AI)-based robot dog named ‘Changkhe’, selected by Omoda and JECO from suggestions submitted via Facebook. Scheduled to begin on 1 Mangsir 2082, the tournament will include this four-legged mechanical dog as a unique attraction for both players and spectators. The company invited social media users to propose Nepali names for the robot, and the chosen name ‘Changkhe’ will also earn a gift for the Facebook user who suggested it.
According to the company, the robot dog will be capable of running, jumping, and responding to various voice commands on the field. The advanced robot is equipped with a camera to provide live footage from the dog’s perspective, offering fans a unique viewing experience.
The dynamic mechanical robot is manufactured by Omoda-JECO, a sub-brand under China’s Cherry Automobile, and is based on technology developed by Aimoga Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
In addition to the robot showcase, Omoda and JECO will continue their tradition from previous NPL seasons by awarding a premium car to the winner of the ‘Man of the Tournament’ title in Season 2.
