AI-Powered Robot Dog to Debut at Nepal Premier League Season 2



An AI-based robotic dog will be showcased at NPL Season 2 in Kirtipur, offering fans and players a new interactive experience.

The Nepal Premier League (NPL) Season 2, starting from Mangsir 1 at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, will feature an AI-powered robotic dog. Presented by Omoda & Jeeco Nepal, this four-legged mechanical dog is expected to become a major attraction for both spectators and players.

The robotic dog is capable of running, jumping, and responding to various voice commands. Equipped with an integrated camera, it can capture live field views and relay them from the dog’s perspective to the audience. The company aims to create a unique, immersive experience using this advanced technology.

This dynamic mechanical robot has been manufactured by Omoda-Jeeco, a sub-brand under Cherry Automobile, China, and is based on technology from Aimoga Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Omoda & Jeeco Nepal has invited spectators to suggest a suitable name for the robotic dog.

SPG Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. serves as the official distributor of Omoda and Jeeco in Nepal. The company currently offers models such as Omoda E5, Jeeco J5, Jeeco J6, and iCaur in the Nepali market. Additionally, Omoda & Jeeco has announced that the “Man of the Tournament” in this season will receive a premium vehicle as a prize.

Fans attending NPL Season 2 from Mangsir 1 at the Kirtipur cricket ground will have the opportunity to interact directly with the robotic dog, making the event a high-tech, engaging experience.
