The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the schedule for the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL). The tournament will begin on Mangsir 1 (November 17) and all matches will be played at the TU International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.
The opening match will feature the defending champions, Janakpur Bolts, taking on Kathmandu Gorkhas at 4 PM on the opening day.
A total of eight teams will participate in the tournament. There will be two matches per day — the first starting at 11:45 AM and the second at 3:30 or 4 PM. The three playoff matches are also scheduled to begin at 4 PM.
The final match will be played under floodlights on Mangsir 27 (December 13). Out of the total 32 matches, 23 will be day-night games played under floodlights, according to CAN.
